Wayne Liang

Wayne Liang co-founded and served as the chairman and CEO of MStar Semiconductor, a leading chip design company in the TV, Set-top box and display market, before the company was merged with Mediatek.

Prior to his work with MStar, Wayne started his career in a Silicon Valley startup, IMP. Back to Taiwan, he joined companies such as Winbond, WSMC and TSMC where he served several management and executive positions. He owns an extensive experience in the wafer foundry, and chip design business and is familiar with the industry key players.

Wayne Liang earned his Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University.
